Governor Snyder Appoints LoFiego to the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs
MIDLAND, MICH
- Bob LoFiego, Manager of Community Relations for Three Rivers
Corporation has been appointed by Governor Rick Snyder to The Michigan
Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs. His term will be effective
immediately, expiring September 1, 2014.
In his statement appointing LoFiego, Governor Snyder said, “Reinventing
Michigan will take a team of people working together. In this spirit, I
hope you will seize this opportunity and accept the challenge to help
usher in a new era in our state’s history.”
The Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs strengthens arts and
culture in Michigan by increasing its visibility; supporting arts
education; encouraging new, creative and innovative works of art; and
broadening cultural understanding. It is a key conduit for arts and
cultural information, as well as a source of arts and culture grant
funding.
