Three Rivers Corporation Named Certified Green Contractor
MIDLAND, MICH - Three Rivers Corporation was recently named a Certified Green Contractor by Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC), becoming the third Michigan based company and first in the Great Lakes Bay Region. ABC’s Green Contractor Certification program recognizes construction companies that implement green practices and principles in the workplace.
“The Certified Green Contractor Program is another step in Three Rivers Corporation’s commitment to build and operate in an environmentally sustainable manner while providing our customers with the best possible value.” said Andy Weisbrodt, Design Build Division Manager at Three Rivers Corporation and head of the sustainability team at Three Rivers. “This certification coupled with our LEED project experience, and eleven LEED Accredited Professionals, has established Three Rivers Corporation as a leader in the green building movement in the Great Lakes Bay Region.”
To achieve certification from ABC’s National Green Building Committee, Three Rivers Corporation developed and implemented programs for recycling, material conservation, energy conservation, employee well being, and employee education.
